GRADUATION EXERCISES

No student shall be allowed to participate in commencement exercises until he/she has successfully completed all graduation requirements as prescribed by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE).  Special Education students must meet all program requirements to receive a certificate of completion and participate in commencement exercises.

MID-TERM GRADUATES

Students who complete their work at midterm may graduate at that time, but in doing so shall end their careers at the local high school.

Mid-term graduates shall be allowed to participate in graduation exercises in the spring. 

It shall be the responsibility of the student to communicate with the school administrator to secure all necessary information regarding practice sessions, proper dress, and general procedures to be followed during the ceremony.  The student will be held strictly accountable for securing all materials and information necessary to participate in the graduation exercises in the spring.
