ST. MARTIN PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

APRIL 15, 2020

MINUTES

            The St. Martin Parish School Board convened on this day at 4:00 P.M. online at www.saintmartinschools.org in accordance with the executive order of the Governor of Louisiana (JBE 2020-3 and JBE-32) with the following members present: 

Messrs. Russel C. Foti, President, Steve Fuselier, Mike Clay, Richard Potier, Frederic Stelly, Floyd Knott, Mark Hebert, Mrs. Wanda B. Vital, and Ms. Edna M. Johnson.  

            ABSENT:          Mr. Jimmy Durio

            The meeting was called to order by Russel C. Foti, President.  Mr. Allen Blanchard, Jr., Superintendent, opened the meeting with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance. 

            On the motion of Mrs. Vital, seconded by Mr. Stelly, and unanimously carried, the Board approved the insurance proposal submitted by Brown and Brown of Louisiana, LLC including general liability, property, flood, etc.

            ABSENT:          Mr. Durio

            On the motion of Mr. Stelly, seconded by Mr. Potier, and unanimously carried, the Board approved awarding Substantial Completion for the Early Learning Center Kitchen.

            ABSENT:          Mr. Durio

            On the motion of Mrs. Vital, seconded by Mr. Potier, and carried, the Board approved the extension of the Bond Project Management Services with Poche Prouet Associates LLC from April 10, 2020 through June 30, 2020.

            OPPOSED:       Mr. Stelly, Mr. Knott, and Mr. Hebert

            ABSENT:  None

            On the motion of Mrs. Vital, seconded by Ms. Johnson, and unanimously carried, the Board adjourned.
