ST. MARTIN PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

SPECIAL MEETING

APRIL 17, 2019 – 11:30 A.M.

BREAUX BRIDGE, LOUISIANA

MINUTES

            The St. Martin Parish School Board met this day at the Administrative Office with the following members present:  Messrs. Russel C. Foti, President, Jimmy Durio, Frederic Stelly, Floyd Knott, Mark Hebert, Mrs. Wanda B. Vital, and Ms. Edna M. Johnson.  

            ABSENT:          Mr. Steve Fuselier, Mr. Mike Clay, and Mr. Richard Potier

            The meeting was called to order by Russel C. Foti, President. 

            On the motion of Mr. Hebert, seconded by Mr. Stelly, and unanimously carried, the Board approved to adopt a resolution providing for the tabulation of the electronic bids received for the purchase of General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2019, of St. Martin Parish School District, Louisiana (attached as Exhibit A).

            ABSENT:          Mr. Fuselier, Mr. Clay, and Mr. Potier

            On the motion of Mr. Hebert, seconded by Mr. Durio, and unanimously carried, the Board approved to adopt a resolution accepting the best bid of City Group, of New York, New York for the purchase of General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2019, of St. Martin Parish School District, Louisiana (attached as Exhibit B).

            ABSENT:          Mr. Fuselier and Mr. Potier

            On the motion of Mr. Hebert, seconded by Mr. Stelly, and unanimously carried, the Board approved to adopt a resolution authorizing the incurring of debt and issuance of General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2019, of St. Martin Parish School District, Louisiana; and providing for other matters in connection therewith (attached as Exhibit C).

            ABSENT:          Mr. Fuselier and Mr. Potier

            On the motion of Mrs. Vital, seconded by Mr. Durio, and unanimously carried, the Board adjourned.
