ST. MARTIN PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

SPECIAL MEETING

AUGUST 16, 2017 – 5:00 P.M.

BREAUX BRIDGE, LOUISIANA

M I N U T E S

The St. Martin Parish School Board met this day with the following members present:  Messrs., Burton Dupuis, President, Steve Fuselier, Aaron Flegeance, Russel C. Foti, Richard Potier, Floyd Knott, Mark Hebert, and Ms. Wanda B. Vital.

ABSENT:          Mr. James Blanchard and Mr. Frederic Stelly

Dr. Lottie P. Beebe, Superintendent, opened the meeting with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance.

The Board heard from Mr. Jerome Lee with the Community Development Institute regarding the Head Start facilities within St. Martin Parish.

On the motion of Mr. Foti, seconded by Mr. Flegeance, and carried, the Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Community Development Institute and the St. Martin Parish School Board contingent upon the (CDI’s) attorney’s review and approval of the MOU.

RECUSED:       Mr. Potier

ABSENT:          Mr. Blanchard and Mr. Stelly

On the motion of Mr. Foti, seconded by Mr. Fuselier, and unanimously carried, the Board adjourned.
