ST. MARTIN PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

SPECIAL MEETING

AUGUST 15, 2012 – 5:00 P.M.

BREAUX BRIDGE, LOUISIANA

M I N U T E S

The St. Martin Parish School Board met this day with the following members present: Messrs., James Blanchard, President, Floyd Knott, Mark Hebert, Aaron Flegeance, Steve Fuselier, Richard Potier, Frederic Stelly, and Ms. Wanda Babin.

ABSENT:              Mr. Russel C. Foti and Mr. Robert E. Hollier

Superintendent Lavergne opened the meeting with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

On the motion of Mr. Flegeance, seconded by Mr. Fuselier, and carried, the Board approved the appeals to reinstate denied credits due to excessive absences.

OPPOSED:            Mr. Hebert

ABSENT:              Mr. Foti and Mr. Hollier

A motion was made by Mr. Flegeance and seconded by Mr. Stelly to grant authority to the Superintendent to hire an accountant and a bookkeeper.  Mr. Flegeance withdrew his motion.

On the motion of Ms. Babin, seconded by Mr. Flegeance, and unanimously carried, the Board adjourned.
